Fixie, an automation platform for enterprises

Fixie, an automation platform for enterprises to build and scale chatbots, has raised $17M in a seed funding round led by Redpoint Ventures. Founded by former Apple and Google employees last year, Fixie aims to help businesses integrate large language models into their workflows, data, systems, and more.

  • Co-founder and CPO Zach Koch described Fixie as an "extensible model that enterprises can integrate into their own products and tools."
  • Its AI-powered agents can integrate with external systems, such as APIs, databases, and productivity tools, to automate processes and add NLP to products and services.
  • A company could, for example, use Fixie's cloud-based platform to integrate LLM capabilities into its customer support workflows to automatically issue refunds and more.
  • It supports GPT-4 and a variety of other large language models, such as Jurassic-2, Cohere, and GPT-NeoX.
  • Fixie is now offered as a developer preview.
  • Others participating in the latest seed funding included Madrona Venture Group, Zetta Venture Partners, SignalFire, Bloomberg Beta, Kearny Jackson, and various angel investors.
