Future Fund Food has raised a $21M funding round to invest in companies that aim to make food systems more sustainable.

  • Future Food Fund aims to invest in Seed and Series A companies in Western Europe that aim to change the food and agriculture value chain. 
  • According to the company, its investments aim to affect the 25% of climate-changing greenhouse gas emissions that the food industry releases.
  • The firm has invested in startups such as:
    • Plantik,
    • EV biotech,
    • Extracellular,
    • Phenospex, etc.
  • The fund, officially named Future Fund Food II, will be closed this upcoming summer at a total raise of over $50M.
