Google is building a new search engine (project codename: Magi) that will incorporate AI features that could include writing software code, generating AI images, and teaching foreign languages. With Samsung considering replacing Google with Bing as the primary search engine on its phones due to its AI features, Google is working to make the new engine available for testing to up to 30M users by the end of the year.
At its Worldwide Developers Conference in June (WWDC 2023), Apple is
expected to release a new operating system (xrOS) and software development kit, new MacBooks, iOS 17, iPadOS 17, macOS 14, and a major watchOS 10 update, in addition to its mixed-reality headset. Experts note that not much will be expected from the macOS or tvOS changes, but the watchOS update is expected to be the most significant since the
Apple Watch was launched in 2015.
Amazon is implementing a $1 fee on some returns, shifting from its long-time strategy of attracting customers through ultimate convenience.
