Kepler Communications has raised a $92M Series C funding round to expand its constellation satellite data network.   The company is collaborating with SpaceX to launch the satellites. The company claims its new optical relay network will deliver data at 2.5 Gbps to satellites in low Earth orbit. This funding round was led by IA Ventures, with participation from Costanoa Ventures, Canaan Partners, Tribe Capital, and BDC Capital’s Industrial Innovation Venture Fund.  Since its inception, the company has raised $200M. Kepler aims to use this funding to launch at least two more satellites. The company is based in Toronto, Canada.
