Ledger raises $109M

 

Cold wallet manufacturer Ledger has raised a $109M Series C funding round. 

 The company is now valued at $1.4B.

  • Ledger offers crypto wallets that aim to protect cryptocurrencies and NFTs from being hacked.
  • According to Ledger, its products are differentiated by the fact that they include a Secure Element chip and Ledger's proprietary OS.
  • The company claims that it has sold over 6 million cold wallets so far.
  • The round was led by Morgan Creek, Cité Gestion SPV, Digital Finance Group, VaynerFund, True Global Ventures, and 10T.
  • Since its inception in 2014, the company has raised over $500M.
  • Ledger is based in Paris, France.
