  • The two factions are deploying tanks, artillery, and fighter jets in areas with dense civilian populations.
  • Millions of people remain trapped in locations where they found shelter and some hospitals have been forced to close.
  • U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken confirmed on Tuesday that a U.S. diplomatic convoy was attacked in Sudan and has called for a 24-hour ceasefire.
