Poshmark rolls out livestream shopping

 

Poshmark has launched Posh Shows in the U.S. and Canada. 

 The new feature brings live-stream shopping to the online resale marketplace for the first time.

  • Posh Shows allow sellers to sell items in live virtual auctions.
  • It provides an easy-to-use interface consisting of a propriety suite of selling tools that allow sellers to set starting prices and auction duration.
  • Hosts can add Show Tags that provide brief descriptions of the show to facilitate enhanced discovery.
  • Poshmark sellers have already hosted over 100,000 shows, and shoppers have made over 4 million bids since the platform started testing the service in Q4 2022.
  • The platform will continue to build out Posh Shows in the coming months, with a focus on enhancing its "Sell Together," which allows sellers to auction items that belong to other users.
