S2G Ventures has closed a $300M fund to invest in sustainability startups.
The firm now manages $2B worth of assets.
- S2G invests across four categories:
- Clean energy,
- Food and ag-tech,
- Oceans and seafood,
- and special opportunities.
- S2G Ventures has so far invested in six startups out of this fund, some of which are:
- Circulus, a company that converts plastic waste into post-consumer resins for commercial use.
- Service 1st Financial, a financial technology, innovation, and training company.
- The firm has also launched companies from the ground up in specific verticals, such as ag-tech.
- In total, S2G has invested in 70 companies located in five countries.
- The company is based in Chicago.
