S2G Ventures has closed a $300M fund to invest in sustainability startups. 

The firm now manages $2B worth of assets.

  • S2G invests across four categories:
    • Clean energy,
    • Food and ag-tech,
    • Oceans and seafood,
    • and special opportunities.
  • S2G Ventures has so far invested in six startups out of this fund, some of which are:
    •  Circulus, a company that converts plastic waste into post-consumer resins for commercial use.
    • Service 1st Financial, a financial technology, innovation, and training company.
  • The firm has also launched companies from the ground up in specific verticals, such as ag-tech.
  • In total, S2G has invested in 70 companies located in five countries.
  • The company is based in Chicago.
