SaaS company Clockwork has debuted Cloud Deluxe, a platform that boosts a business’ network performance by leveraging clock synchronization.

The company unveiled its clock synchronization service last year.

Clockwork aims to enable time-sensitive systems and applications to help businesses reduce network latency and jitter, and eliminate packet drops between their machines.

  • Cloud Deluxe claims to address the potential loss of control, visibility, and performance that can occur when a company switches over to the cloud by fixing fundamental latency problems.
  • The new platform is powered by Packet Rocket, Clockwork’s network congestion control solution that aims to drastically reduce network latency, eliminate packet drops, and remove throughput jitter to ensure the network runs smoothly.
  • The platform’s bandwidth slicer feature allows users to run multiple high-performance workloads on their existing infrastructure without having to scale up, while the Color Detector feature helps organizations gain better insight into their cloud environments by identifying existing infrastructure inefficiencies, such as underperforming VMs.
  • According to the company website, Clockwork Deluxe runs on AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, IBM Cloud, and private clouds.
