South Korean developer Krafton and AR company Naver Z have invested $36M in a new metaverse called Migaloo.

Migaloo aims to be a creator-centric platform that utilizes blockchain technology to enable creators to earn a fair share of the value generated by their work.

  • The platform will use a "Create to Earn" (C2E) model that rewards creators for their work.
  • Migaloo will have three main areas: a mobile social platform, a 3D interactive content world, and a creator platform.
  • Krafton will be in charge of program development and the development of sandbox tools and blockchain systems.
  • Naver Z will be in charge of service planning and securing partnerships.
  • Migaloo will enable users to interact with each other in a virtual environment, creating a new type of social experience that is not possible in the physical world.
