Netflix ordered a "Stranger Things" animated series from "Glitch Techs" and "Fanboy & Chum Chum" vet Eric Robles.

Original "Stranger Things" creators Matt and Ross Duffer will executive produce the new series.

No plot details for the animated series have been announced.
The main "Stranger Things" series will return in 2024 for a fifth and final season.
In a statement, the Duffer Brothers compare the new series to "the Saturday morning cartoons that we grew up loving."
