Teamworks has raised a $65M Series E funding round to provide software that helps sports organizations recruit players.  The company has raised $165M in total funding. The company claims its platform is currently used by 6,000 sports organizations, including 150 professional sports teams and 400 collegiate athletic programs. Dragoneer Investment Group led this funding round. The company aims to use the capital to fund M&A deals and to expand in new markets. In addition to closing its Series E round, Teamworks announced that it acquired ARMS Software. Teamworks is based in North Carolina and has additional offices in the U.K. and Australia.
