 LSU scored the most-ever points in an NCAA women's championship game.

  • LSU's Jasmine Carson scored 22 points, Alexis Morris finished with 21 points, and Angel Reese had 15 points and 10 rebounds.
  • Reese was named the Most Outstanding Player for the Final Four.
  • Iowa star Caitlin Clark, who won the AP Women's Player of the Year award for the regular season, scored 30 points.
  • She scored 191 points in the NCAA tournament, topping the previous record of 177 points.
  • In the fourth quarter, Reese taunted Clark by pointing to her ring finger, showing that there would soon be a championship ring there. 

  • The NCAA men's basketball final between San Diego State University and the University of Connecticut will take place at 9:20 PM EST on Monday night.
