The Pentagon released a formerly classified clip of a UFO sighting over the Middle East.
Earlier this month, Sean
Kilpatrick, an analyst for the Pentagon's Anomaly Resolution Office
(ARO), told a U.S. Senate subcommittee that it would be "virtually
impossible" to fully identify the small flying object seen in the video.
- ARO has reported 650 sightings of unidentified aerial phenomena (UAP) since it started operations in June 2022.
- After analysis, about half UAP sightings are deemed "readily explainable."
- But
researchers sometimes spot UAP that require further investigation due
to their "unusual flight characteristics or performance capabilities."
