Ultra Right Beer to reach $1M in sales

Ultra Right Beer, a conservative alternative to Bud Light, is projected to exceed $1M in sales within 12 days of its launch.

Ultra Right has gained over 10,000 customers and sold 20,000 six-packs, demonstrating support from conservatives who reject brands they disagree with.

Founder Seth Weathers positioned the beer as part of a movement against "woke values" and encouraged a boycott of Bud Light and its parent company.

  • Weathers launched an ad campaign targeting Bud Light, featuring a video of the "Conservative Dad" smashing a can of Bud Light with a baseball bat, which has garnered 46 million views.
  • Bud Light experienced a significant decline in sales, with a 17% decrease in dollars and a 21% drop in volume in the week ending April 15.
  • Anheuser-Busch, the parent company of Bud Light, faced negative publicity and announced leaves of absence for the marketing executives involved in the Mulvaney campaign.

Dylan Mulvaney, the transgender influencer, has partnership deals with other brands, including Nike, Amazon Prime, KitchenAid, and OkCupid.
