Yfood raises $234M funding round from Nestlé at a $469M valuation

 

Yfood has raised a $234M funding round from Nestlé at a $469M valuation. 

 Nestle now owns 49.95% of the food company.

  • Yfood is a meal replacement company offering energy bars, vegan drinks, and meal powders.
  • The investment means that Yfood's previous investors, such as Felix Capital, Fonterra, and Five Seasons, have sold their shares to Nestlé.
  • Yfood had 100% YoY revenue growth and $131M in sales in 2022.
  • The company says it is currently focusing on the European market, where it has sold 95 million meals.
  • Since its inception in 2017, the company has raised around $22M in funding.
  • Yfood is based in Munich, Germany.
