Amazon released its "Great on Kindle" program for non-fiction titles in select markets.  The program requires e-books to meet higher standards of quality, reports GoodEReader. The "Great on Kindle" badge signals that the e-book version lives up to the new criteria set by the Great on Kindle program. The program requires e-books to have the correct tags, high-quality images, and error-free metadata. Other eligibility criteria require e-books to have all of Amazon's digital extras activated, including Enhanced Typesetting and X-Ray. Amazon has not revealed the precise criteria for admission to the program to prevent authors from exploiting the rules.
