Development IDE platform Replit has raised a $97M Series B extension funding round, reaching a $1.1B valuation. 

Andreessen Horowitz's Growth Fund led the round.

Replit is a browser-based IDE that enables developers to set up any development environment and release functional live apps in seconds.

  • Khosla Ventures, Coatue, SV Angel, Y Combinator, Bloomberg Beta, Naval Ravikant, ARK Ventures, and Hamilton Helmer also participated in the funding round.
  • The company aims to use this funding to invest in product development, expand its cloud services for developers, and boost its Ghostwriter platform.
  • Ghostwriter is an AI pair programmer that helps developers to write code more efficiently.
  • Since its inception in 2016, the company has raised over $200M.
  • The company is based in San Francisco.
