Former Target CFO to join Nordstrom

 

Former Target CFO Cathy Smith is set to join Nordstrom.  She replaces Michael Maher, who became Nordstrom's interim CFO after Anne Bramman left the role in December. Maher plans to depart from his interim CFO position in addition to his role as chief accounting officer at Nordstrom. He will remain through June 16 to ensure that Smith's transition into the CFO role goes smoothly. Smith will oversee financial planning and analysis, accounting, tax, internal audit, treasury, investor relations, and strategic sourcing. Smith most recently served as CFO at Bright Health Group after leaving her position at Target in 2020.
