| The International Women's Podcast Festival will not take place this year, organizers announced. It has been postponed with hopes of resuming next year due to a lack of support and funding. - The
festival's organizer, Content is Queen, said in a statement that it was
disappointed by the lack of backing the festival had received but
wasn't surprised as, across the landscape, podcast events have been
postponed or canceled.
- "Unfortunately, we depend on the
industry to financially support the festival, and the industry and our
partners, I guess, had different priorities or conflicting needs at this
time," Content is Queen founder Imriel Morgan said in a video posted to Twitter.

is Queen says that the postponement of the festival will not diminish
the call for inclusivity in podcasting and working to make sure women's
voices are heard.
