- While Roc Nation claims that a casino in Manhattan would benefit New Yorkers from all walks of life, regardless of their backgrounds, a group of restaurants, residents, and a church, who have formed the "Broadway League," claim the casino would not help improve the quality of life in the area but would make it worse.
- Roc Nation is the only bidder that aims to open a casino in Times Square, as other bidders have proposed buildings in locations such as Brooklyn, Bronx, Midtown East, etc.
- New York State is expected to grant its casino license to the winner by the end of 2023.
