Russia launched a series of pre-dawn strikes on Ukraine on Monday.

The barrage marked Russia's second predawn attack in three days.

  • The strikes hit a logistics hub near the Ukrainian city of Dnipro, wounding 34 people and destroying dozens of houses.
  • Hours later, Russian forces launched strikes on Ukraine's capital city of Kyiv.
  • Ukraine's military said it downed 15 out of the 18 missiles that were fired at targets across the country.
  • Officials in Kyiv noted that all missiles and drones targeting the city were destroyed.
  • Pictures on social media showed a massive blaze in Pavlohrad, which was one of the hardest-hit cities.
  • Russia is currently preparing for Ukraine to launch a major counteroffensive with Western-supplied weaponry and equipment.
