Apple greenlit a documentary series profiling international soccer star Lionel Messi.  Footage for the series has already been recorded in Paris, Qatar, and Argentina. The series culminates in Messi's FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 win along with the Argentina national football team. "Free Solo" veterans Tim Pastore and Matt Renner are on board as executive producers. Messi personally participated in the series, which also features insights from teammates, coaches, competitors, and commentators.
