Brands most associated with metaverse

 


What the numbers say: According to a 2022 survey by Ipsos, 45% of adults in the United States identified Meta (formerly Facebook) as the top brand associated with the metaverse. Google was chosen by 22% of respondents, while Oculus, a subsidiary of Meta specializing in VR headsets, was selected by 19%. Additionally, 10% of respondents associated Disney with the metaverse, and Spotify, the music streaming platform, was chosen by 8%.

Relevance:  According to a Morning Consult survey, a majority of the 1,000-plus U.S. respondents have positive outlooks about the metaverse. Thirty-four percent said that the metaverse is the "future of technology," while 30% feel brands should open virtual stores.
