Apple announces 'Vision Pro' headset

 

The Apple Vision Pro headset unveiled at WWDC is described as a dramatically better-looking device than any other AR or VR headset seen before.  The Vision Pro headset features a thin design with a fabric shield and a plushy band around the back, providing a comfortable fit. The device has a nice silvery color and includes built-in audio on the sides of the band, as well as sensors and cameras housed under the front-facing glass. The front-facing display of the Vision Pro gently pulsates with light when the wearer can't see out, indicating that someone is using the headset. Questions about comfort, weight distribution, heat, and display quality remain, as well as how the Vision Pro will be used and what the market demand will be. The success of the headset will heavily depend on its software and user interface, which are yet to be fully revealed and developed. The Vision Pro headset is meant to be CEO Tim Cook's signature addition to the Apple product lineup.
