Peacock will take over naming rights for a theater

Peacock will take over naming rights for a theater at the L.A. Live entertainment center in Downtown Los Angeles.

The 7,100-seat concert and events venue was previously known as the "Microsoft Theater," and will be renamed "Peacock Theater."

The center's open-air plaza will also be rebranded, from "XBOX Plaza" to "Peacock Place."

  • Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
  • Peacock will also get a dedicated LED marquee at the corner of Figueroa and Olympic Blvds, which it will use to highlight programming as well as special L.A. Live events.
