Sex and the City

 

The Daily Mail quoted Sarah Jessica Parker discussing the return of Kim Cattrall to the "Sex and the City" franchise.  Cattrall appears briefly as Samantha Jones in the new season of Max's "SATC" spinoff, "And Just Like That..." Parker reportedly said "it's been a joy" to have Cattrall back on the show as well as "really fun and exciting and certainly nostalgic." The Daily Mail piece also quotes co-star Kristin Davis, suggesting that Cattrall's return is just a cameo and not an indication that she'll return to the franchise more fully. "I think maybe hopes have been lifted, possibly higher than that," Davis added, "and that was not our intention."
