Creator Justin Spitzer posted his plans for what would have been the third season of NBC's "American Auto."  The network recently canceled the workplace comedy -- set at the offices of Detroit's fictional Payne Motors -- after two seasons. According to Spitzer, Season 3 would have featured Katherine Hastings -- Ana Gasteyer's character -- finally having some success leading Payne Motors. He said he's disappointed that there won't be a third season but feels "immensely proud of the 23 episodes of the show we did put out there." Spitzer -- who previously created and produced "Superstore" -- will return to NBC with a new season, "St. Denis Medical," in the fall.
