JetBrains released Kotlin 1.9.0 with a new command function that can be used to retrieve a group's contents by its name, a new function to create parent directories, and more language features. Also, the Kotlin team announced the new K2 compiler for JVM is in beta and is requesting feedback from developers to refine it before it becomes the default stable compiler in Kotlin 2.0. |
