Paramount Home Entertainment plans to release the musical prequel series "

 

Paramount Home Entertainment plans to release the musical prequel series "Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies" to video-on-demand (VOD) platforms, including iTunes and Amazon.  Episodes will be available for $2.99 a piece, or $19.99 for the full 10-episode season. A DVD box set of the complete series is also scheduled for release on November 7, and will include more than 30 minutes of special features. The "Grease" series debuted on Parmaount+ on April 6; the streamer pulled the show from its catalog in June. The show has been nominated for two Emmy Awards this year, both for its choreography. Creator Annabel Oakes had called the streamer's treatment of the show a "brutal move."
