PepsiCo recently announced a multi-year global partnership with U.S. video game developer EA Sports.

 The tie-up makes three of its flagship brands-Pepsi, Gatorade, and Lay's-official partners of the soccer video game property EA Sports FC. 

The partnership announcement follows the debut of the gameplay trailer for EA Sports FC 24, slated to release on Sept. 29, 2023. 

  • The collaboration will feature new experiences that combine soccer, music, and gaming. 
  • The upcoming experiences will also leverage global ambassadors from PepsiCo's roster of football talents, including Vini Jr and Leah Williamson, to provide activations, entertainment crossovers, in-game integrations, and on-pack promotions.
