65% of consumers globally plan to stop spending or reduce online purchases due to the cost-of-living crisis.

 According to the International Postal Corporation (IPC), consumers will also look for free deliveries or click-and-collect-in-store options to save on purchases.

  • 24% of respondents said they will buy more from domestic websites.
  • The survey showed a relatively concentrated market with two leading players, as 27% bought their most recent purchases from Amazon and 17% from Alibaba.
