Amazon Robotics AI director Siddhartha Srinivasa has left the retail giant to work for Cruise, a self-driving subsidiary of General Motors.
Srinivasa, a full-stack roboticist and University of Washington robotics professor, is now a distinguished engineer at Cruise.

- During his four years at Amazon, Srinivasa helped to develop and scale robotics AI systems for the company's fulfillment operations.
- He will now be a technical adviser at Cruise as the autonomous vehicle company works to scale the business.
- In a LinkedIn post, Srinivasa said he is "excited to start a new journey," which will involve "inventing algorithms and partnering with operations to exponentially scale autonomous mobility."
