Grupo Coppel, the largest department store chain in Mexico, will launch a mobile wallet app for Mexicans living in the U.S.  The app will allow users to transfer money between Mexico and the U.S. Consumers in Mexico will be able to collect wire transfers from the company's 1,250 branches. Similarly, Walmart relaunched its Walmart2Walmart money transfer program in Mexico. The company claims that by charging as little as $2.50 per transaction, it offers fees 50% lower than competitors. The service was paused from 2018 until recently while Walmart worked on the product's infrastructure.
