Meta's Hand Tracking 2.0 will become the default hand-tracking program for Meta Quest headsets.  Initially released in April 2022, the updated tracking software will replace Hand Tracking 1.0, which the company plans to retire by April 2023.  More:  According to a blog post published by the company, the move "doesn't require any action from developers." The April update improved hand tracking generally; the update can identify more movements, such as clapping and high fives, and predict movements that occur beyond the camera's view.  The latest tracking update, Hand Tracking 2.1, can identify quick motions and better predict future actions.
