N.J.-based
AtomicJar, a company with an integration testing platform, has raised a
$25M Series A funding round and has also announced a public beta of Testcontainers Cloud.
Testcontainers is an open-source tool that allows users to run and manage docket containers directly into a project.
- The
Testcontainers solution was released in 2015 by Richard North. In 2021,
North and Sergei Egorov founded AtomicJar and have since developed a
cloud-based version called Testcontainers Cloud.
- According to the company's website,
Testcontainers Cloud enables developers to run integration tests with
real dependencies defined in code from their laptops to the cloud. The
tool is ideal for developer teams rather than a single developer.
- Insight Partners led the $25M Series A, which brings the company's total raised to $29M.
- Testcontainers Cloud should be generally available later this year.
