The Department of Motor Vehicles in California is collaborating with Tezos and Oxhead Alpha to execute record-keeping on the blockchain.  The government agency is testing blockchain technology for applications such as issuing car ownership and transferring such ownership. The DMV is exploring digital wallets and car title NFTs.  Both Tezos and crypto software provider Oxhead Alpha were chosen to collaborate with the agency.  Oxhead Alpha has built a set of smart contracts. Last year, California Gov. Gavin Newsom signed an executive order directing state agencies to explore applications of blockchain technology.
