A Harvard CAPS-Harris survey revealed that Americans feel marijuana should be less regulated than it is right now.  The survey was conducted among 2,050 registered voters. Almost half (45%) of the respondents believe there should be fewer rules for cannabis. 22% said the regulations should stay the same, and 33% wanted more laws. Respondents favored more regulations on cryptocurrencies, social media, electric vehicles, and coal. Another survey by Data for Progress also found that American voters across party lines supported the legalization of marijuana at the federal level.
