Adam Neumann wants residents to "feel" like owners regardless of their actual equity ownership in the real estate property.
There is very little information about Neumann's new company called Flow.
- Neumann, who also co-founded WeWork in 2010, recently set up Flow, a rental-housing company.
- Flow will launch in various cities in the U.S., including Atlanta; Fort Lauderdale, Florida; Miami; and Nashville, Tennessee.
- The company plans to own and operate multifamily residential apartment buildings.
- Flow
seems to be rooted in the idea of 'ownership' and to allow tenants to
feel like they have ownership "and it's not just ownership — 'I feel
like I'm part of something' — it's 'I own part of something,'"
says Neumann.
- Neumann also believes that Renters who felt a sense of ownership would extend leases leading to more revenue and profit.
