Tome, an AI-powered alternative to PowerPoint and Google Slides, has raised $43M in Series B funding led by Lightspeed Venture Partners.
The AI-driven platform uses OpenAI technology to automate the process of creating presentations.
Users type in a description, and Tome will generate a presentation in less than a minute.
- Founded by two ex-Meta managers, the platform has integrated OpenAI large language models and an image generator.
- Its beta test version launched in September. By February, Tome had eclipsed 1 million users, which its founders said makes it the fastest-growing productivity tool to accomplish that feat.
- Other investors in the Series B round include Coatue, Greylock, Stability.ai CEO Emad Mostaque, and former Google CEO Eric Schmidt.
- Tome is pre-revenue but said to be valued at $300M.
