Alex Appleton, CFO and executive director at Argo Blockchain, has resigned.  Appleton served in his role since September 2020 but will now explore opportunities in non-crypto-focused sectors.  Argo Blockchain is a crypto miner listed on the London Stock Exchange (ARB) and Nasdaq (ARBK).  The company's shares fell 3.4% to 15.07 pence following Appleton's departure.  Overall, the company's shares dropped 90% in 2022 due to high electricity costs and the crypto winter.  The announcement came days after Appleton's company sold its Helios facility to Galaxy Digital for $65M.  The company avoided bankruptcy by selling the Helios facility in time.
