California-based data infrastructure provider Onehouse has raised a $25M Series A round led by Addition and Greylock, bringing the company’s total raised to $33M.

Onehouse specializes in a pre-built data lakehouse foundation built on the Apache Hudi open-source data management framework.

  • According to its website, Onehouse aims to enable users to build their own data lake, as well as process and own their data in an open format while avoiding vendor lock-in.
  • The company’s fully-managed cloud service purports to facilitate continuous data ingestion from databases, event streams, cloud storage, and other services and also claims to automate data management and provide users with a full data ecosystem equipped with analytics tools.
  • Onehouse says its management services are delivered on a data plane inside the user’s cloud account for enhanced security.
  • The startup plans to use its fresh funds to grow its go-to-market team.
