Campari reports double digit sales growth

 

Campari Group has posted organic sales growth of 16.4% for its 2022 financial year, boosted by strong performance in the U.S.

 Its net sales for 2022 totaled €2.69B ($2.87B), marking 24.2% growth.

  • According to Bob Kunze-Concewitz, Campari's CEO, there was a “positive business momentum across key brands and markets.” 
  • The U.S. market grew by 14% in 2022 due to the trend for at-home drinking, while the U.K. market grew by 13.7%.
  • Southern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa's markets grew by 18.2%,
  • China's market was an exception due to the COVID restrictions for much of the year.
  • Campari was boosted by the widespread TikTok video discussing the Negroni Sbagliato late last year.
