China-based NetEase has acquired game development studio Quantic Dream for $105M.
The latter is based in Paris, France.
Quantic Dream is a game development studio known for creating games such as:
- Detroit: Become Human,
- Beyond: Two Souls,
- Heavy Rain, etc.
- The gaming studio is based in Paris.
- The company had raised $4M in funding before being acquired.
- NetEase is one of the largest internet companies in the world, with around 20,000 employees.
