Diners Club has launched Ecuador's first digital bank using AWS technology to provide the cloud infrastructure.
The online bank will be named Temenos Core Banking.
The digital service will be created in partnership with Temenos, one of the largest software developers for banks in Europe.
- Temenos claims that its cloud service, Temenos Banking Cloud, makes it the only banking platform available for banks to deploy cloud technology by running it themselves or as a SaaS solution.
- Diners Club Ecuador will also use AI to build its credit scoring system, understand client behaviors in more depth and provide tailored experiences for its customers.
- The bank has already given $14M in loans.
