 According to a study by PYMNTS, which also studied Brazil, India, Mexico, the U.K., and the U.S., the UAE showed the highest shopping satisfaction rate, which actually increased by 11% from 2021 to 2022.


  • India ranked second in shopper satisfaction. The report also found that the Indian market is adding digital features consumers want.
    • India also had the highest likelihood of users using smartphones for in-store and online shopping experiences.
    • The country also has the highest number of digital mainstream shoppers per capita. 45% of Indian respondents identified as digital enthusiasts.
  • The survey covered 13,350 consumers and 3,124 merchants across these countries.
