Ionblox has raised a $32M Series B to offer advanced EV batteries that charge in 10 minutes.  The company has 40 patents and specializes in the pre-lithiation process. Ionblox develops advanced lithium-ion cells that have pre-lithiated silicon-dominant anodes.  This technology enables EVs to charge in 10 minutes, much faster than the current status quo in the industry. Lilium and Applied Ventures led the funding round, with participation from Temasek and Catalus Capital. Ionblox is currently developing fast-charging batteries for USABC, among others. Since its inception in 2017, the company has raised over $36M. The company is based in Fremont, California.
