AI-powered energy data analytics provider OilX has been acquired by energy consultancy Energy Aspects for an undisclosed sum. Clinical trials data platform Paradigm Health Inc. acquired Deep Lens Inc., an AI spinoff of Columbus-based Nationwide Children's Hospital. Deep Lens provides clinical trial patient recruitment in oncology. Retail AI company Standard AI signed an agreement to purchase Skip, a self-checkout solutions provider. The deal will enable Standard to integrate self-checkout with AI-enabled autonomous checkout.
