EBay invested an undisclosed amount in Notable Live to provide buying experiences to sports fans and NFT enthusiasts.   Notable Live is a digital experience platform that will provide eBay customers with merchandise sports players have worn, as well as digital artwork. EBay has increased its offering of sports and NFT products beyond its recent partnership with Notable Live. In 2022, eBay expanded its sports offering by rolling out an authenticity guarantee program for trading cards.  The company also bought KnownOrigin, which is an NFT marketplace. Moreover, eBay agreed to buy TCGplayer, a collectibles company. EBay expects to close the purchase of this company sometime this year.
