Six new security flaws found on macOS and iOS

Six new security flaws found on macOS and iOS have been tracked by security researchers.

The flaws have CVSS scores ranging from 5.1 to 7.1.

These bugs contain parts from the ForcedEntry attack, which was designed to target macOS and iOS devices and is based on the infamous Pegasus spyware.

    • If a target is breached, the malware can enable hackers to:
      • delete messages,
      • access call history or voicemail,
      • wipe a device's internal storage, etc.
    • These bugs were addressed in the macOS 13.2 and iOS 16.3 updates.
